The course gives students the knowledge for the understanding of theoretical / conceptual spatial data modelling and prediction techniques. The course analyzes the assumptions of spatial data analysis, spatial data model components, features, spatial data prediction procedures in GIS. The focus is on the differences of algorithms and their advantages, the practical application of spatial methods in the environment.
