The main objective of the course is to provide in-depth knowledge and understanding of process design, equipment and operations of oil & gas terminals.
Study course is designed to introduce students two thematic areas – Oil and Gas Terminals. Technological processes and design of onshore & offshore oil terminals will be discussed in deep. Moreover, students will be familiarized with environmental risks on oil terminals (oil spills, air pollution) and their solutions. The next part of the course will be dedicated to gas terminals. The course focuses on LNG terminal value chain: gas production, liquefaction, transportation, re-gasification, end-users. Furthermore, at the end of the course, the pipelines operation & maintenance will be discussed.
